Sami Haddadin, the Franka Emika venture and creator of this innovation, voiced the advantages of the new system that they have developed, drawing attention to the highly expensive and dangerous high robot systems used in industry and plants. Haddadin pointed out that Franka is an alternative at a more affordable cost and size. He emphasized that this robot was the only system developed to work with people and that they signed a first in the robotic field. Describing Franka as a ‘collaborative robot’ or ‘cobot’, Haddadin added that these cobot systems, which help production, are a growing market.

The maximum carrying capacity is 3 kg and 18.5 kg. The Franka Emika is equipped with interchangeable fingered parallel clamps. Equipped with buttons for start-up guidance mode, this robotic system has an accuracy of 01 mm; and 7 different angular momentum sensors. The Franka safety stop system; which offers a user-friendly process with security applications; safety monitor with stop, speed and space limitation options.

The price of this system, which was put on the market by pre-order system; will be between 9,900 and 10,500 Euros. In this sense, the robot stands out from the competition with its cost.
