Stratasys Added SLS Printing to Its Portfolio with TPM3D

Offering advantages in industrial segment, Stratasys will make a cooperation with Trumpsytem Precision Machinery(TPM3D) in order to increase its service network in Asia.

Stratasys’ Shangai branch starts working to improve its customer portfolio. Stated to add its partner TPM3D’s SLS printers to its services, Stratasys Shangai aims to gain Chinese customers’ recognition.

Mr. Omer Krieger, General Manager of Stratasys Asia Pacific, explains: “The joint venture marks an important milestone for Stratasys. By combining our global vision and local expertise, we are confident that we will meet the unprecedented market demand for high-volume production. Our goal is, by adding complementary technology to extend Stratasys’ 3D printing solutions portfolio, to meet the unique needs of different industries, and to meet customer needs in order to become a truly customer-oriented 3D printing solutions provider.”

As a company rooted and based in China, TPM3D possesses a unique understanding of local demands and is in a position to serve local industries which could benefit from its SLS manufacturing systems. These include the Chinese automotive, aerospace, electronics, health care, and service industries. Stratasys, as an internationally based 3D printing solutions company, is hoping to gain insight and capitalize on TPM3D’s position in order to meet and satisfy local 3D printing demands, which are continually increasing. In addition to meeting production demands, the joint venture is hoping to shorten production times, and keep working to reduce the cost per part, thus increasing overall efficiency.
