Bringing high technology and creativity together, 3D software provides an important amount of efficiency and easiness in the product process. Meeting the demands not only of Professional but also beginners, these platforms are very easy and fun to use.

3D technology is an extent process covering design, manufacturing and post-manufacturing. The software of this technology creates a very creative and advantageous platform. Giving the opportunity of observing the production three dimensional, these softwares promises a healthier and fruitful manufacturing experience.

3D print models are typically distributed in a file format called STL. 3D printer slicer software is needed to convert an STL file into G-code, language which can be understood by a 3D printer. It’s called a slicer because that’s literally what it does; it chops up the 3D model into thousands of flat 2D layers that the 3D printer can fabricate as a physical object.

Cura is the standard slicer software for all Ultimaker 3D printers, but it can also be used with most other 3D printers, including RepRap, Makerbot, Printrbot, Lulzbot, and Witbox. It’s fully open source and can be extended via a plugin system.

TinkerCAD is an online computer-aided design (CAD) software for 3D printing that is a good entry point for beginners. However, its feature set is limited compared to Blender, FreeCAD and SketchUp, so many users switch over to a more powerful tool later. ZBrush is hands down the most popular and powerful digital sculpting software out there. If you are an experienced designer or just can’t have anything less than the best of the best when it comes to the newest gadgets, these Professional programs are the answer. Solidworks and AutoDesk Inventor. Professional grade 3D modeling/CAD software; both Inventor and Solidworks are typically used by professional design engineers. With that said, they are top of the line 3D design tools. If you do not have an Engineering background and are headed down this path, it may be worth investing in the Solidworks Bible.

Easy using platforms for beginners and wide optional softwares for industrial of artistic goals are preferred. These options are now used in many segments from fashion to industry. Revised and upgraded continuously, these applications is among the most important digital technologies.
