These Initiatives Bring The Sector Together

Share

Spreading 3D technology to a wider audience and developing the sector is among the main aims of every printing service. Taking steps towards this aim, Voodoo Manufacturing will provide an easier and more extensive service with its initiatives.

Starting 2017 with innovations, America based Voodoo Manufacturing drew attention with its two initiatives; Print API and Partner Program. Aiming to reach more customers, these programs are expected to stir up the sector.

Jonathan Schwartz, co-founder and Chief Product Officer at Voodoo Manufacturing, believes the company’s new Print API service is helping to further modernise standard manufacturing processes.

“This is a natural extension of what we already do, and pushes us closer to achieving our goal of making manufacturing more like software,” Schwartz said. “Through the Print API, we’re turning a process that’s typically regarded as manual and analogue, and making it more scalable and accessible by turning it into an end-to-end digital pipeline.”

“The Voodoo Partner Program brings together key players in today’s 3D printing ecosystem,” said Patrick Deem, co-founder and Chief Financial Officer at Voodoo Manufacturing. “We believe that a number of projects go uncompleted because they’re outside scope of the provider. The Voodoo Partner Program changes that and now projects can be passed off to a partner to complete quickly and in a cost effective manner, increasing customer satisfaction and spreading adoption of additive manufacturing globally.”
