Developing professional printing and engineering services, EnvisionTEC expands its dental printer range. Presenting its new Vida cDLM at LMT Lab Day for the first time, the company also drew attention with its new material.
EnvisionTEC demonstrated the fifth model of its dental printer series at LMT Lab Day held between the dates of 24-25 February, USA, Chicago. Adapting the company’s patented cDLM(Continuous Digital Light Manufacturing) technology, this printer enables faster and easier printing than any other DLP printers.
“EnvisionTEC is proud to partner with leading dental professionals around the world on the development of new 3D printers and materials that are transforming the way custom dental parts are made,” said CEO Al Siblani. “We are excited to bring the Vida cDLM to the dental industry. Our expanding dental 3D printer line is now unrivalled for productivity, accuracy and flexibility of materials.”
In terms of resolution, the Vida cDLM boasts an XY resolution of 50 microns, and a Z resolution of 25-100 microns (depending on the material). The 3D printer also reduces the need for supports, which in turn allows users to print castable partial frameworks with delicate clasps. All the features mentioned above make the Vida cDLM a suitable option for 3D printing dental applications.
