Developing connected control platforms for homes and businesses, Alarm.com announced that it will develop drone applications. The company, which will enrich the smart home and workplace security system with drone technology, will develop auto-use video-capable drones in this context.
For this work, Alarm.com will partner with Qualcomm, which provides IoT (internet of objects) and intelligent technology application solutions, will take security to the next level. Using the patented Snapdragon Flight drone circuit board system developed by Qualcomm for drones, Alarm.com will produce a drone system that provides ground-direction guidance and high-resolution video capability to the user in homes and businesses.
This drone placed in the space will act when it detects any abnormality or different movement patterns. In this application where the user can easily control the security with the video feature, unmanned drone technology used for military operations and R&D in general will be used for home and workplace security for the first time.
