Smartphone 3D Printer OLO Hits Kickstarter

World’s first 3D printer compatible with a smartphone, OLO broke a record in Kickstarter. The printer with which you can perform printing by using your smartphone, received total 2.321,811$ funding from the supporters.

Developed with the aim of ‘Simple use for everyone’ this device is compatible with Android, iOS and Windows. Being the result of a 2 years research, this device using daylight resin that cures under the phone’s light.

OLO works with smartphones of almost any size or brand. Even large 5.5 inch displays such as iPhone 6S+ or Galaxy A7. Regardless of brand or size, OLO can turn your phone into a 3D printer! We made OLO available for almost any device. All you need is a flat touch screen smartphone. OLO’s building chamber was designed to prevent light penetration in order to maximize the effectiveness of the white light emission from your smartphone’s display.
