Serving to the market with 3D software and printing, Materialise announced its partnership with Luxexcel at Rapid.Tech fair.

Materialise Magics 3D Print suite was recently introduced at RAPID, integrating all its industrial software solutions into one. The Build Processor is a technology housed within Materialise Magics 3D Print suite that nurtures communication between the 3D printing machines and software. Together, the companies are working on an image-based, machine-specific Build Processor for Luxexcel to ensure the quality of optical parts and enable specific control over 3D prints.

Operating within the optical industry means that it is essential for Luxexcel to avoid visible printing layers. To combat this, Luxexcel have developed an exclusive digital Additive Manufacturing technology that disregards post-processing.luxexcel-1printing3dnews
