3D sector is growing globally. We came across with new manufacturers entering the market all the time. Entering the sector 4 years ago, 3D design studio Le FabShop announced to end its 3D journey.
Many exciting news come from 3D sector with many successful ventures and investments. Raising it competition level just like any other developing sector, 3D market farewells to some of these ventures. Being one of them, Le FabShop decided to stop its operations.
The sole distributor of MakerBot 3D printers in France, Le FabShop had been suffering financially for some time and decided to focus its efforts on 3D designing and innovations in other areas. And while the designs put out by Le FabShop are undeniably impressive, such as their 3D Printed Paris Lamp, this adorable children’s mobile, and a slew of other pieces, the company could unfortunately not recover from its losses.
As the founder Bertier Luyt explains in his blog post, “Today, it is with our head held high that we write the last pages of Le FabShop’s history. A number of traces of our journey will always remain, however, such as 3D models, books, and ideas…I thank all those who have supported us for months, those who reached out to us with possible solutions, and those who called to check in.”
