One of the leadings of 3D sector, Belgian Materialise continues its projects. Planning to grwo with a new facility, the firm will open a new printing service in Bielany Wrocławskie, Poland.
Belgian manufacturer Materialise NV has announced plans to launch a new plant in Bielany Wrocławskie, in Poland’s south-western part, reports local news site Propertynews.pl. The company specialises in additive manufacturing (AM), also known as 3D printing, and makes its output from plastics and other materials.
Under the plan, Materialise is to invest at least 7.8 euro at the factory. The firm is planning to create around 18 new jobs in Bielany Wrocławskie. The production facility will be located in the Tarnobrzeska special economic zone Euro-Park Wisłosan, enabling the Belgian firm with preferential tax treatment for its investment.
Materialise states that it will also be expanding its corporate facilities in Belgium, investing a total of €17m in capital expenditures over the next 12 months. However, a spokesperson for the company told PNE that they were unable to disclose any further details about how the investment will be spread or the details of the work being done at its HQ.
