Builder Provides Advantages with Portable Printers

Share

It is not very easy to move around industrial 3D printers because of their sizes. In that sense, Builder developed smaller verisons of its series.

3D technology formed a different approach to mass production lately. That is the reason why many printer manufacturers support industrial 3D manufacturing. However, the biggest problem of these products are their installation process. Netherlands-based printer manufacturer Builder solves this problem with smaller versions of Extreme printers.

“With the Extreme series we wanted to make large scale 3D printing affordable. We did thiswith the Extreme 1000 and 2000, but not every company has the space to fit an Extreme inside. The Extreme 1500 has a large build volume, yet made slim enough to fit through every office door. It even fits in an elevator,” says Niels Hunck, Sales Manager of Builder 3D Printers.

Though smaller in size, the Extreme 1500 adopts many of its sibling’s characteristics, maintain the productive quality that Builder aims to deliver. The Extreme 1500 is able to print multiple objects side by side, and comes with an integrated heated bed, on-board camera, Wi-Fi connectivity and the unique Dual-Feed extruder. This Dual-Feed extruder, which allows a single hot end to accept two input filaments. The extruder can be switched from one to the other to change colours and the user can even mix them with a customised ratio.
