Maison 203’s 3D Influence on Lithe Bird in Venetian

It is clear that 3D technology is rising among in jewellery and accessories sector in recent years. Producing all their designs by this technology, Masion 203 team gains appreciation with the new store they opened in Venice and their new accessories ‘Oseléto’ bird.

Formed by two technology lover designers Orlando Fernandez Flores and Lucia De Conti, Maison 203 attracts interest with collections bring elegance and quality together.  Making economical and aesthetic designs by 3D printing, Masion 2013 continues innovation the new store in Venice and new products.

‘Oseléto’ (Lithe Bird in Venetian ) has square and linear geometrical shapes build volumes and play with the light, yet do not avoid references to the House Bird made famous by the Eames but do enjoy revisiting the theme proposed by the Boroullec Brothers for Vitra. Completely executed using 3D printing, Oseléto is the first Maison 203 home accessory and is available in 2 sizes, 14 cm and 10 cm.

The Fritto Misto collection of contemporary souvenirs – completed by brooches shaped as the typical Carnival masks known as Bautta and Moretta, the Venetian biscuit called buranello, inspired by the
Grand Canal curve, the mouse, the squid ring or the red mullet – was designed to celebrate the opening of the first Maison 203 store in Venice, near the famous Rialto Bridge, on Ruga Vecchia San Giovanni.

From digital reality to the concreteness of material through 3-D printing: contemporary jewel-making methods, where planning abilities, creativeness and algorithms combine in a perfect balance and lead to a potentially endless formal freedom.
