Enhancing its computing services with 3D imaging projects, Microsoft bought 3D imaging specialist Simplygon for new generation design programs.
Optimizing 3 dimensional datas and providing solutions in video and gaming sector, Simplygon is acquired by Microsoft. Being in the agenda lately with its venture ‘3D For Everyone’, Microsoft aims to strengthen its technological background.
Indicating that it will add new features to Windows 10 Creators Update program with 3D For Everyone vision, Microsoft wants to integrate 3D imaging to Paint-like programs. Expressing that these innovations will be introduced in spring of 2017, the firms will provide and more interactive and personal design process.
Simplygon’s technology and talent will strengthen our position in 3D creation, making it easier to capture, create and share in 3D. It builds on and extends our aspirations to empower a new wave of creativity with the Windows 10 Creators Update, Paint 3D and our online creator community at Remix3D.com.
