3D production expands with non stop investments. Suprising automotive sector with Blade car, Divergent attracted interest by acquiring total 23 million dollars.

Developing world’s first functional 3D car with innovative technology, Divergent 3D draws industry’s attention. Supported by investors for developing process, the firm has a huge support from Horizaon Ventures as well.

The company will use the funding to help it commercialize its manufacturing platform, which uses 3D printing to produce the chassis of an automobile. The platform produces 3D printed joints, which it calls a NODE technology, that can be connected with carbon fiber structural materials to build a strong and light chassis.

The announcement follows the launch of a development and marketing partnership with global engineering firm Altran also an investor in the Series A round and a strategis partnership with leading European automaker PS Group to build full vehicle structures using Divergent’s manufacturing platform.
