One of the leaders in the production of local 3D printers, Zaxe announced that they have gotten funding worth 8 million TL by a group of investors including KVK, Nevzat Aydın and Muzaffer Akpınar. With this investment, the company aims to develop the 3D printers and offer new 3D printer models for individual users, by completing R&D studies, to Turkish and global markets.
In 2015, Zaxe was established in Turkey with the motto “We produce for a productive world”. It currently offers 3D printer solutions to over 400 educational institutions; as well as a number of organisations from different sectors. Drawing attention in the global market; the company continues to increase its service quality with an investment of 8 million TL. Zaxe currently has four different 3D printer models: xlite, X2, Z1, Z1 +. The company provides high quality printing with filaments for Zaxe printers, desktop software and devices.
Dependence on foreign countries is decreasing with local 3D printers
Zaxe General Manager Emre Akıncı said that with the local and national 3D printers developed by the company; they anticipate that it will be a great benefit for Turkey’s economy for reducing the dependence on foreign countries; and making all the strategically needed production in the country.
Zaxe Cofounder Aydonat Atasever told that foreign funds related to 3D Technologies started to follow both their company and their R&D staff closely. Atasever explained that as Zaxe, they think that the value of the company will rise very quickly with the sale of their products in global markets. Another one of Zaxe’s cofounders Baki Gezgen relayed that this investment would accelerate Zaxe’s production processes and R&D activities, and he added; “Our biggest goal is to be a technology exporting company with our new 3D printers we are developing”.

KVK General Manager Serdar İbrahim Gölbek said in his statement; “Zaxe showed that it is the leading representative of Turkey in additive manufacturing with the technology and 3D printers developments. We have high expectations about the ability to dominate the markets both in Turkey and abroad; with the commercial growth and new technology developments”. Gölbek stated that as a partner, KVK will do their part in achieving this company’s goal.
