Formlabs is in the 3D industry with their SLA printers and resin production, and they shared their plans for 2017 with 3D enthusiasts. The company had an exciting work for this year, and has met the industry with their brand new products at CES 2017.
Formlabs presented their innovations today on the second day of CES 2017. After a very productive year, the manufacturer of the SLA printing systems, which has been introducing innovations uninterrupted since 2016, presented the renewed Gray Resin series, Ceramic Resin ceramic raw material solution and other innovations to the world of technology.
The Gray Resin exhibited at the show stands out with its precision on surfaces and in general printing. This re-developed resin reveals the potential of SLA printing. Noting that the new Gray Resin is the 3rd version of this product; Formlabs Chief Product Manager David Lakatos stated that they are working with their customers in the product development process. Ceramic Resin, which is the first different raw material development work of the company; gives a ceramic feel with its aesthetic appearance and texture after curing. After printing, 3D parts become a full ceramic. Stating that these works related to ceramic raw materials, Lakatos emphasized that ceramic is currently one of the newest areas researched in 3D printing. Underlining that ceramic 3D printing can produce complex structures not possible with traditional ceramic production, Lakatos drew attention to the advantages of this resin.
