A 3D scanner for foot scanning was developed with the partnership of Fuel3D and Cryos Technologies. The British 3D scanner brand Fuel3D, which developed Scanify for face scanning before, supported the CryoScan3D project with their outstanding scanner technology.
The 3D scanner used in architecture, sculpture, dental and medical applications continues to expand its product capacity. Fuel3D is one of the leading brands in 3D scanning; CryoScan3D, which is specially developed for foot scanning to expand its product range and network of scanning technology, is being prepared to be sold. Within the scope of this project, the company worked with Cryos Technologies, which attracted attention with its technological innovations in the orthotic industry.
The detailed scan process of the CryoScan3D scanner is suitable for medical and orthotic applications. This scanner provides maximum accuracy in size and measurement; and it takes only 0.1 seconds to perform a 3D foot scan. This scanner is intended to be used in foot surgery; thanks to this scanner, it is also possible to produce an orthodontic foot base in individual foot sizes.
Fuel3D; which focuses on the production of personalized glasses by using advanced 3D scanning technology in the optical field; is expected to take place in orthopedic and medical production with this product.
John Stimpson, President of Cyros Technologies, stated that there is no longer a gypsum-molding period and shape limitations are no longer an obstacle; talked about the service they offer to the orthotic industry; “We wanted to focus on the specific problems we encountered in 3D foot scanning; and Fuel3D’s superior scanning technology has provided us with an effective and cost effective solution. We look forward to introducing CryoScan3D developed with the collaboration of Fuel3D and our team to the podiatry industry.”
Cryoscan3D received great acclaim
Fueld3D CEO Stuart Mead stated that they are very happy to be working with a technology-leading company; such as Cryos Technologies, and informed about their future projects;
“We are a brand that aims to provide measurable hardware and software solutions; by collaborating with technology experts from a wide range of sectors. We have projects to offer solutions in other industries and we look forward to sharing them with the market.”
CryoScan3D; which was exhibited at the World Congress of Podiatry in Canada for the first time last week; received great acclaim from the participants.
