3D technology continues to spread its application areas. Being on the forefront with scanning application this time, this technology took its place at Turkey based Assan ASP’s facility.
Supporting global market since 1986 with spare part and construction machine manufacturing, Turkey based Assan ASP adapted 3D scanning for a faster and more precious manufacturing. In that sense, making a collaboration with Artec 3D’s Gold Partner Teknodizayn, the company draw attention in engineering world.
Even though it is difficult to measure accurately, replicating such large parts and would usually take Assan ASP around two weeks to complete. With 3D scanning, they were able to capture each part in detail in less than 40 minutes.
“As we know, Artec 3D scanners are the best to use in situations where there is a big part that needs to be scanned in a location where conditions are difficult. This was exactly this kind of situation,” says Ali Can Boysan, Sales & Technical Support Manager at Teknodizayn.
