Having the highest sales figures in printer segment, FDM technology keeps improving with innovations. Drawing the attention towards ‘Delta’ printers, SpiderBot aims to increase FMD’s application areas with ABSolute 2.
France based printer manufacturer and spare part provider SpiderBot added a new member to its product range. As the new version of ABSolute printers, ABSolute focuses on print speed and design flexibility.
After more than a year of R & D in collaboration with the Maped R & D department, the ABSolute is ready in its final version. Compared to version 1.0, a lot of changes in the design and geometry have improved the print quality and the possibilities of the machine. The ABSolute’s heating chamber ensure perfect prints in ABS. The fact of printing in a heating chamber at 90°C eliminates the tension and shrinkage phenomenon on parts. That means no more warping, distortion of part, even on complex and technical parts.
On top of this, since it is a dual-head 3D printer, the second head rotates out of the way when not in use to avoid dripping unnecessary contrasting filament ooze onto the 3D printed item being produced. I’m not going to say genius without seeing the quality of the 3D prints but some of the features of this 11,000€ to 14,000€ 3D printer are undoubtedly impressive.
